Sql Server 2005
Page Under Construction
As a developer for nearly 8 years I have had to work with Sql Server and MySQL almost explicitly, this includes advanced query writing and database basic database administration. 2 days ago the IT director of my company asked me if I knew any SQL. I experienced a short moment of extreme disbelief, I understand that an IT director has some disconnection from his soldiers and may not be aware of the skill set required to be a senior level employee but I was suprised all the same.
With that thought in mind I am going to embark on sharing some of the knowledge I have scraped together over the years as they pertain to Database Development. Initially I plan on adding content based on the "New to Sql Server 2005" Managed Objects and then move on to doing some automated database backup scripting and repository check. Let us see where it goes from there. If you have any comments or input as to content or accuracy feel free to email me at mac@rangermac.com
